Social networking platform for business connection: Business partner game platform
How to create a platform which can provide professional networking in a free style way(like playing a online game) for those who want to find business partners such as small business startup founders or big company innovation project leaders and so on.
Facebook is well known for its social media platform to connect people and LinkedIn is also famous for its business and employment-oriented online service used for professional networking.
However, I am wondering if we have a platform which can provide professional networking with a free style especially for those who want to find business partners such as small business startup founders or big company innovation project leaders and so on.
I was inspired by the simulation in DSI(Digital Strategy and Innovation) course in HBAP(Harvard Business Analytics Program) . In the simulation, the system randomly selects the partners and during the whole process and from the “game” results, we can evaluate if we found a good partner from different angles, for example:
1) whether the partners working experience, background, business/technical skills can help and inspire and be inspired with each other; 2) whether the partners have the common goal, same value and great teamwork.
I would like to call it a “online game” platform for businessman and professionals. So, the simulation mentioned above is only a small part of the “games”. To different kind of people, for different purposes, we can design different games.
Advantages of Business partner game platform:
1) Time and cost saving: Businessman or high-level leaders eager to find right person to be a good partner, new business explorer or some other kind of right person. But they are busy with all kinds of everyday endless meetings and travels, how and where can they find their partners more efficiently?
And it is good way to test before they schedule to travel to any different cities meet with each other.
2) Free style: It is just like a game. People can do it at any time they want and in a very relax way like playing a game, but actually they are working on selecting their future partners and expand their networking. What a fantastic way to do that.
Difficulties of Business partner game platform:
1) How to find the target group to start the test? Is it great method to start from the EMBA, HBAP, MBA students or directly select from the open channel?
2) How to efficiently control the requirements, collect the feedback and investigate for the useful information
