Awesome post! I remember in RC year we talked about Marriott’s push to offer Airbnb-like services. Do you envision a future for these asset-heavy hotels in which they can adopt the kinds of digital strategies that the new tech companies like Airbnb employ?

Thanks for this! Curious as to what you see as the timing on when Zillow decides to become a replacement rather than a complement for existing services. What needs to happen in order for that shift to occur, and can Zillow make it happen or is there some other macro factor at work?

Super interesting, and definitely matches my experience of never using my DSLR 🙂 Curious as to what kind of future you see for the traditional camera companies like Kodak: what kind of strategy could they employ to keep pace with digital innovations?

Super interesting! Do you think there are strong barriers to entry in this space? I’m thinking about the emergence of publishing platforms like WordPress and how many competitors emerged. Is there something in this space that would prevent a similar dynamic?

Cool piece! Curious as to whether you see barriers to entry in this space, which would make it more attractive for startups but perhaps less worth the investment for encumbents. Either way, love the human-centric focus!

Really interesting! Curious whether you see Quibi as a two sided platform or just a platform for content with strong barriers to entry. Also, does the value of the differentiation on quality outweigh the network effects of a platform like YouTube?
