Timothy Bresnahan

Timothy (Tim) is the Landau Professor in Technology and the Economy in the School of Humanities & Sciences at Stanford University. He specializes in industrial organization, applied econometrics, and the economics of technology. Tim’s research covers policy-oriented topics such as competition in the personal computer business and the Internet, as well as technological and market sources of growth. He is also a senior fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research.
