He specializes in research on financial issues related to start-ups, high growth, and newly public companies. He has an appointment in both the Finance and Entrepreneurial Management areas. Paul’s paper, Diversity in Innovation, examines the fact that even as the educational programs that traditionally create founders of startups have become more gender and racially diverse, there has not been a commensurate diversification in entrepreneurial careers.
