Daniel P. Gross

Dan is an assistant professor of business administration in the Strategy Unit at Harvard Business School and prior to that he was a postdoctoral fellow at HBS and the National Bureau of Economic Research. Dan studies topics in the economics of innovation, with a research program focused on (i) the effects of technological change and economic activity, and (ii) the management of creative workers within organizations. In recent published and working papers, he has studied the effects of competition on individuals’ creative production, the drivers of technology diffusion, and the impacts of technology standards on trade.
