For a second year, Harvard, MIT, and Microsoft Research New England are proud to partner with Stanford University to bring the Women in Data Science (WiDS) conference to Cambridge, Massachusetts.
This one-day technical conference will bring together local academic leaders, industrial professionals, and students to hear about the latest data science-related research in a number of domains, to learn how leading-edge companies are leveraging data science for success, and to connect with potential mentors, collaborators, and others in the field. The program will include technical talks, a student poster session, recruiting opportunities for attendees interested in data science job opportunities and several networking breaks throughout the day.
All genders are invited to attend the conference, which will feature exclusively female speakers.
The conference will be preceded by a data science competition, open during the month of February. Top scoring Massachusetts based teams will be highlighted at the conference.
