30th Annual HBS Tech Conference

HBS Klarman Hall

The first HBS Tech Conference was convened 30 years ago in 1992. In the intervening three decades, we have witnessed an unprecedented explosion of new technologies, and a steady stream of FRONTIER TECH such as automation, AI/ML, and VR/AR suggest that the era of market creation will continue for the foreseeable future.

During this time, the growth and influence of America’s BIG TECH companies has reshaped business and society. A wide-ranging debate about tech policy dominates our news coverage, and anti-trust and privacy regulation will impact us all.

Lastly, these trends are not just domestic; TECH IN EMERGING MARKETS allows developing countries to leapfrog existing challenges and bolster their private sectors. Fintech/crypto, as well as tech for market creation, will have implications for billions in the emerging world.

Today’s youth are digital-natives, meaning they’ve grown up under the ubiquitous influence of the internet and other modern technologies. That is why the theme of this year’s Conference is STEPPING INTO OUR ROLE AS DIGITAL-NATIVE LEADERS. Our goal is to provide a platform for young adults to grapple with their role as future leaders in tech across industry and government.

Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite.

This event is hosted by the HBS Tech Club.
